Way back when I was trolling the caraudio.com forums there was a guy named Dominick who was supposedly a good contact for HO alternators. His email is... dominick@tds.net check him out. Not sure on if he's still around or what.

I've been searching HA.com and some other sites...

http://www.stingerelectronics.com/we...lternators.asp

Theirs look VERY nice. Give them a ring.

Can't find much more right now.

You might wanna try google for some sites that do rebuilding or custom alternators.

http://www.acealternator.com/home

http://www.autoelectric.com/services.html

There are lots of those.

I was told at Nopi that Mr Alternator will rewind a stock one for the output you want for about 100 to 200 bucks.

i dunno. i deleted the email but all it said was he had nothing for me and then i sent another email to see if he could direct me in a different direction and he said no.

i just found someone else who will do it for 300 but not sure how well his alternators are.

ohio generators are known in the audio world. not like stinger or something else but the price is okay for a brand new one with a warranty and i know they are awesome. also the alt looks just like stock except the ohio gen sticker.
