High output ALT...
I can get a 190A Ouput Alt but I was advised I'd have to make brackets to make it fit but it would work.
The dude said it wouldnt be that hard and he's giving me a good price on it. Anyone know how hard it would be to make a bracket for an alt?

You won't really know till you see the alt.
It might be something simple, or it might be hard.
If you make a "template" out of cardboard to fit the new alternator, and give the stock mount to a machine shop, they should be able to make you a real mount arm out of metal for under $50.
The question I have is...it is a 3 wire, 4 wire or single wire? Make sure it is compatable with your current alternator(stock). Your ECU might bitch, or you might overcharge your battery and kill it.
It might be something simple, or it might be hard.

i'll ask him about the wire thingy but man how would i know if it is compatable?

Count the wires on your stock Alt. make sure that your "new" alternator as the same Number of wires.
You will need to cut the stock "plug" end and splice wires. Make sure that whoever sells you the new alternator clearly labes/describes what each connector/wire does. Hopefully he sells a connector with the alternator.

BTW...Stock is 90 amp. You are jumping to 190 amp. WHY? Why do you need 100 more amps?

well i dont NEED 190
heres what im lookin at as far as my system...
800w+400w+300w = 1500w
granted i might not use that much all the time but this is just my system...
1500/13.5v=111.1amps
so 110 just for my system. then the car, the heater/ac, lights, neons, ps2, screens, etc.
plus my compressor is 40amps itself.
only reason 190 is because thats all he has.
