guys, today i got some LED's, and tried to change the a/c and recirc LED's...
so i took off the dash, removed the unit which has 3 knobs and the two buttons, and i tried to take the a/c and recirc "plastic boxes" out...
while doing so, i didn't realize i had to twist and remove the bulb on the bottom, and bam! i broke one of the lightbulbs in there....
can anyone help me with this pLLLEEEEase??
also i think i messed up the button as well...
originally, it's supposed to stay in when pushed once, and pop out when pushed the second time, right?
the recirc button doesn't do that anymore...... 02.gif
help!!!!!! thanx in advance!

I hope you didn't break anything on the circuit board!
If you did, ... you MIGHT be able to salvage it with some soldering,... but I'd have to see it.
If you just broke the bulb that lights up the "AC" or recirc / fresh air logos, you can just get another one from the dearler it's cheap. Or you can go to the junkyard.
But if you screwed up the circuit board,... you'll either have to get a new one for like $60 I think, which is the ENTIRE switch, or go to the junkyard.
This may explain why it doesn't click back.
But again I'd have to see it.

i still have the spring, but it seems like the "click" mechanism is totally broken.

i think the dealer would charge me an arm and a leg......
