Hey guys I am getting a 2000 Silver Tib (my 1993 Mazda MX-3 just died 02.gif )and I saw that it had a larger than DIN radio in it (with cd and tape). I have a new pioneer head unit I will be putting in it and need to fit it correctly so I need a trim piece to fit it in. Does anyone know where I can get this trim piece? I want it to be similiar to the non-cd units with a space under the radio for junk (cell phones fit good here) Let me know if anyone can help

Junk Yard, E-Bay, or you could purchase an adapter for a 2000 Tiburon with a double DIN opening. You will not have the cubby hole then, but the stereo will fit.

Oh, and trust me, anything that you put in that cubby hole, will come flying out allover the place with slightly more then normal acceleration. I do not use mine anymore.

Welcome to the site, but don't get that POS kit on Ebay or from Crutchfield, it doesn't fit well and looks HORRIBLE>

Get someone here to sell you the OEM part, or order it from Kspec.com

Trust me, I've had both.

As for sliding items, get a slip proof mat, David sent me one and I love it. Nothing falls out anymore.

Black Tibby, me MX-3 was a 4cyl (But I loved it like it was a 6 haha)
That is the piece I am looking for but as I have heard that it doesnt look or fit right I might want to find an OEM one. Only the best for my new Tib. How much would one be from Kspec.com? I am going to check it out but if anyone knows of anywhere else I can grab one let me know!

Hopefully getting my car this saturday!

Yeah I guess I'll try some junk yards and see if I can find an OEM, couldnt find it on that website... Actually my MX-3 was the most reliable car I ever had, it was just cursed with a terrible AT transmission so that got the best of me...Oh well hope the Tib lives up to it is all I can say 8)
