Default Head rest monitors question

Im thinking about getting a couple of head rest monitors for my tib and I was wondering do you have to poke a hole in the seats and then run the power cables down through the back of the seats, to the bottom, and run up behind the dvd unit? I'm not too thrilled about the idea of having to poke a hole through the seat to run wires and was wondering if that was the case, is there a better solution to installing them? I think just running the wires down the side would look kind of ghetto but its probably my only choice.

Quite often you have to run the wire down the rails of the headrest then down the inside of the seat. You can just fish them through with a coat hanger or something. Just be sure to leave enough slack to either take the headdrest out or extend it upwards. What are you feeding them with?
