Re: Paint Doesnt Stick?
Paint didnt wanna stick to the primer. I guess i should just start over. What is the best way to remove the primer and spray paint off the dash? I have heard of sum 3M Spray but on the site it says for light overspray? you think that would work? Anyone have any other ideas?

Re: Paint Doesnt Stick?
I'm assuming you are talking about on the dash?
Best of luck.
LOL
Sanding is about the only thing you can do. Most of the paint strippers out there will melt the dash.
TRUST ME ON THIS.
 02.gif
Go pick up a Black & Decker "Mouse Sander" with the finger attachment. Pick up some extra sand paper for it, the blue HEAVY DUTY kind. Pick up in all 3 grits it comes in. Start with the roughest one. Sand away. Then when done move to the next grit. Then the next. Then finally wash it and let it dry. After that, use some Bulldog Adhesion Promoter. 2 coats. Then use some of that Duplicolor "High Build" Primer to make sure all the sanding swirl marks are out of it.
Then paint, in very LIGHT coats. Just many of them.
Best of luck.

Re: Official Bush vs. Kerry Thread
Also,I would like to add.....................if the paint is not totally cured like I was talking about in the other thread, don't try to sand it off. It'll just 'cake' up all over the sand disc's/paper.Use a big flat head screw driver, and it'll dig right up.Once you have most of the paint off from that technique, then use the sand paper to get what's left. And as REDZ stated, don't even think for a second about using ANY kind of remover. The plastic will go bye-bye. lol.gif

Re: Zefiro Gen I frp vent hood
Well thanks mang, I read this thread before the other one. You are completely right. I wouldn't use a screwdriver though, use a scraper like the kind you use to spackel a wall.

Re: Electrifying Tib!!
Yeah, if you use a scraper you won't gouge the plastic like a screwdriver.
