use a rag to protect your dash.
Now why the hell didnt i think of that! Damn! Thanks mang! Need to get my head straight!QUOTE (gotspeed13)
I have power mirrors too.
Would u mind posting up some pics?
ACTUALLY, i just recently removed them in search for aftermarket ones. they are 3" tweeters, and are equipped on all rds, i have a base model rd, with no special sound system. just take a small screw driver and pry off the rad cover, there kinda stuck in there so pry hard!
lol, something even harder may work better. something like a plastic bondo spreader. hard plastic, but thin so you can put it under whatever you are using to try and pry those grills off.
i think i may have a bando spreader around here somewhere i have tons of squeegees but dont think they will fit. But ill give some of those a try and see what i come up with! Thanks guys for all the suggestions!

Even better. But was planning on taking dash out anyhow. But at least now i know i dont have to if i ever have the need to change them again!
You can not remove the dash without removing the tweeter grills. The reason is because there are bolts inside there that secures the dash to the car.
I remember the grills being a big pain to remove, but I don't remember exactly how I managed to get them up.A bondo spreader isn't going to work. It's no where near stiff enough.

i was just talking about using the bondo spreaders to protect the crash pad from whatever you are using to pry the covers off(screwdriver prolly).
zoned, you want a DIY of how to take the tweeter grills off? confused.gif you just pop the suckers off.
