Ok soo i ripped off some cupholders that have lights in them and put them in my car and turned them into a one of an art lightinging system! i got some two installed in trunk, two back seat and two from seats .... ill take a good vid tonight

kinda interesting. You may want to consider wiring it so they run from car power. If you give me a amperage reading (from a multimeter) i'll give you the correct resistor value so you can hook them up to the 14.6V car power. 3 button cells is 4.5V so we already know that. just need to get the wattage correct.

probly around a 510ohm 1/2W rated resistor, depending on how many LEDs you're powering and their configuration. You can get the resistors at radioshack.

That would make them so you never have to change batteries.

But yeah, get a amperage value and I'll help you hook them up to car power

I don't get it.
Did you rip the lights out of the cupholders and install them, or did you install the cupholders as well?

It's neat though. The light is nice and bright/clear. Plus my favorite colour. smile.gif

they use to be lights inside a cupholder's to put ur drink on like for parties and stuff.. can get them at a party store for like $4 a cup holder
