Fusion in-dash iPod docking station
Picked this up the other day. Fusion in-dash iPod Docking Station. Pretty cool. $165 out the door from my local Frys Electronics.

Seems like it would be a hell of a lot smarter to cut the ipod out of the equation altogether. Just plug in a SD card or something.
I have A LOT of options that do include an SD slot. The show above have a usb port for a usb stick or a mp3 player that shows up on a computer as it's own drive.
I for one prefer using iTunes to manage my music so an iPod/iPhone work great for me!!!

I'll admit I'm anti-ipod and even more anti-itunes. Lol. I have no use for them and don't see the attraction at all but I know I'm all but alone on that one.
My Accent's current deck takes a USB flash drive and the only part I don't like is that it sticks out of the stereo face and interferes with tall cups in the cupholder and I'm always worried that it'll get snapped off by someone careless in the passenger seat.

I had a clarion headunit that used SD cards (it got jacked) but I liked it a lot. The only advantage to an ipod over this though is that most of those headunits can only take so big an SD card. The clarion unit didn't have a CD player though so there were a few times when i bought a new CD but couldnt listen to it until i got home, put it on my pc, put it on sd, etc.
That's a cool deck though
