Default Front and rear speakers

What kind of front and rear speakers does everyone have? And are they running off your head unit or do you have them connected to an amp? I have just stock speakers that are connected to my Pioneer deck and they are starting to sound a bit worn out. So I think its time I do some shopping for something better.

Pioneer components (w/ 1" tweeters) up front and Kicker 6x9's in the rear! I'm running a 5 channel Soundstream Tarantula XTA amp to power the entire system + my single 10" sub.

I found that when the source was upgraded and the power was there, the stock door speakers were good enough. The rear speakers had to go, to let the subwoofer breathe into the cabin.

Amps first, upgraded speakers later.
