Hmmm.....the flash from the camera must penetrate through the screen well then. When I replaced my 6 x 9's I pulled out that black cloth crap in there. What it looks like you did was cut out the 6 x 9 opening in the grill and replace it with a larger screen. I want to cut out my 6 x 9 opening in the grill, and then run a ring of ABS plastic around the opening so I can leave the speaker fully exposed but still hide the crap behind the grill.

 

thanks guys, and HOOTIE, I told you you'd like the outcome... and yes the blue CF is one of the best things I've done... if it wasn't for 3 minor cracks on the hood, which were there since it was purchased, it would be awesome, but anyways people understand that with such a light hood that's possible... smile.gif

and ABT, yep you should do that, it would look nice, I'm used to seeing the speakers inside, but someday I might just do as you said also... smile.gif
