Fiber optic lights
Question: Has anyone used fiber optic lights in their car? I recently have been looking into this idea and I have thought of many uses. The greatest advantages of fiber optics are that they are very small, no or little heat, colors can vary, one kit can run an extensive amount of lights, and you can run it just like wire. For you show nuts this could be a big idea. You could use a system to create a "star field" through your headliner. Your amps and subs could have multiple light points. You could even light your engine bay since the cables can go anywhere. Fiber cable has no electicity running through it so the can run even under water. Compare fiber to neon. The fiber is small and flexible. neon or black lights are bulky.
