If I were to take out all of my panels and carpet, and sound deaden the entire interior…how much extra weight are we talking here? 25 pounds? 50 pounds? 100 POUNDS!?!!? I would probably add only a single layer…2 at the most.

 

i remember buying a "trunk box" of the sound deadening it had like 10 sheets and it was prolly 20-30lbs i used half and sold off the rest.



a ligheter alternative would be truck bed coating. dunno about cheaper or acoustically optimal-... look into it

 

Whatever you do don't use a petroleum based truck bed coating...beeen there done that...that sh*t stinks and develops headaches
