Elantra tips?
I'm starting to wonder on modding the interior of my 04 model Elantra...
I have no clue on sites with decent prices that carry interior pieces for the Elantra, And no ideas for what to do exactly..
Any suggestions on cool add-ons for the interior? I know theres a CF dash kit [Which looks really sick] But, I'm not sure exactly how far to go with it. Lol. scratchhead.gif
If anyone could help, I would appreciate it.
Sincerely,

Off subject for one question, Genesis engine swap? Will that be possible for the 04-06 XD?
A lot of fabrication would need to be done. The 2 liter turbo theta 2 is not the same as the beta 2. Transmission would not bolt up; plus the trans in the Genesis would require a lot of changes, plus you would have to use a Genesis ECU to make it run properly.

I figured it would be more of a pain than the Tib V6 swap, Also because its a newer engine..
The question is, Would it be worth the cost to do?

It isn't proven since the bolt pattern could be different, but the transaxle from a 2.4l Theta Sonata should bolt up to the 2.0t in the Genesis Coupe and the transaxle from a V6 Sonata or Azera should bolt up to the Genesis or Genesis Coupe's 3.8l.
There is a good possibility (although it is still a crapshoot) that the tranny from a Dodge Caliber SRT-4 would bolt up to the 2.0t Genesis Coupe's engine also since they share World Engine architecture. As far as I know nobody has tried these things yet though so there is no definitive answer either way.
It would also be possible to convert an XD to RWD, but that's not a project most people would want to undertake, and if you paid someone to do it it would be a lot cheaper to just buy a Genesis Coupe.
