I jsut finished mine as well and its amazing the difference this made. I did the roof, hatch, trunk, floor, and one door panel. Reason being, I ran out. I got 100 square feet of fatmat for 130 shipped so its not to bad. Especially because i got quoted at 1200 installed at a shop nearby. Im going to order 50 square feet more and do the firewall and the other door panel. Its not to heavy either. Especially not if you have a nice system in your car. If youre worried about every ounce of weight then dont do it.

dude, im telling you right now. i have nearly my whole car torn apart. everything you can see while sitting inside a normal tib is out, except for the shifter.

doing the firewall will be next to impossible. taking the crash pad off is the easy part, then you will have to take out the entire heating/ac system, millions of metal panels, shiifter assembly, undo covers for the steering column and pedals, and a ton of other stuff. oh yeah, and about 1 million wires

there is a stock sound deadoning/fire protectant foam on the firewall that is also held in by funny clips all over the place. sound deadening will not stick to it at all. i did lay some down up as far underneath as i can, but its really not much.

i think that just something im not gonna do.

You have to press down every peice you put on with a roller and with your fingures. If you didn't press it, you can still peel it off. It's a bit tough but you can.

yeah, its not really hard to redo if you mess up. its kinda tough to peel off, but as long as you havent smashed it down with a roller its still do-able without leaving any adhesive behind.

and as for the screws, ive marked of individual baggies for each panel so i dont lose them, because....well, i would so definately lose all of them.
