Dynamat'd My Interior.
They get bruied because you have to press it down in ever corner. And you have to press it down damn good. I had a dynamat roller I used for the big peices but that can't get everything.
Yes Redz is right, that was an option I looked into aswell but have you seen some of the prices? Eyecrazy.gif

I believe the B-Quiet Xtreme is butyl-based like Fatmat, not asphalt, so you don't have the tar odor and it's substantially lighter.
Sound-proofing your car makes such a huge difference in perceived ride quality. It's hard to describe the difference, you need to experience it.
Your hands are bloody and bruised because there's lots of hidden sharp bits of metal on the car interior, and it takes some force to apply the stuff. before you know it you're banging knuckles and catching burrs.

The New/Easier way to do this is Rhino Lining.
Yes, I'm serious.

maybe you could just use the spray can version? duplicolor makes some and duribility really isn't the issue in this case....

Yeah, rhino lining isn't CHEAP, but it's not bad.
ABQElantra got a quote for his whole trunk, lid and all. $100 for everything.

yeah..the spray stuff is suppossed to be good..gets into all the little holes and cracks....as for rhino lining i bet it would be a little bit of a paint due to having to cover every used screw hole and tape off windows and other parts of the vehicle
Yeah thats a nice job. I've done the whole inside except the crash panel, the roof, and under the front seats. It helps a lot. Used Extreme Dynamat
I've actually done about 4 layers in the bottom of the trunk and 2 layers on the lid. It's awesome. You can barely hear anything when the windows are up. When the windows are down, you can hear the music but no bass. We just got a stricter law in town about loud music. Min fine of 250 or something like that. I don't ever worry about it anymore.
