hey everyone, i bought some aftermarket 6.5" speakers for the front door to find they dont fit..whats the best bracket or modification to make them fit?

i just used oversized screws with large washers... they are held on pretty tight..

you have rd1..i have rd2 maybe its different. in rd2 there is a metal bracket on the speaker to make it bigger...like the speaker is too small to fit in the wholes..with the bracket it makes the whole thing about 6.75" so i need an extender or something

There's no metal bracket on mine.

To get mine to fit I just screwed in one screw, then pushed in theplastic housing that the speaker sits in and screwed in the opposite screw.

Repeat 2 more times.

Go to the other side, same thing. Works fine.
