k kinda easy question to answer i bet, but ive tugged a lil on the edges and how seriously how do they frickin come off.

im just worried about cracking them.

do i have to come from underneath?

my plan is to take em off, sand em down to 600 grit smooth then do the fiberglass thing when i do my interior too.

ok anyhow my idea is to cut out like a rectangle, or whatever i like best, and put in one of those thin chrome or black tiburon led plates. my big accomplishment will be getting them to light up when i open the doors. not an electrical specialist truthfully.

 

I'm not sure how to remove these, as I haven't had a reason to do this myself yet...but, getting them to light up when the doors open should be a piece of cake...all you should have to do is tie them into the wiring for the lights in the doors. This wiring should enter the car from the door near the door hinge location.

 

pretty sure they yank out, just like that plastic peice that covers the wires that runs along side the door sills, you just grab and pull till you hear it pop

 

And after that "pop" brace yourself for when you fall over... lmao.gif

Its just a bunch of pressure clips or whatever their called, just pull and they'll pop out.

 

you all forgot to mention that there are two pull tabs on the inner side of the car you need to remove first (kinda by the seat). a flat head removes them quite easy

thanks alot for the help, but now im having troubles actually tracking down the set of illuminated sills. anyone seen them? i swear ive looked over ebay 5 times now.
