I blew out my dome light and clock a few weeks ago while installing my rear strut bar. Yeah, weird I know. My sub is grounded using one of the bolts that the metal plate behind the rear dome light is mounted near. None of the fuses seem to be blown, I have checked them and the bulbs with my multimeter. I found this post here...

What is he talking about in the last post? Any Clues?

I'm not sure which fuse it is, but I have blown a few installing my rear bar as well as helping others smile.gif
Ooops
It's happens when you short out the trunk light. It's on the same fuse.
Double check all of them fuses.

no power at the dome light/clock?
are there any other things that are busted lika any of the exterior lights? like he said, double check all them fuses.
did you throw in a higher rated fuse? if so, you might have a busted clock and dome light bulb. is the dome light bulb blown?
check to make sure you are getting power for them at the fuse box too.

well when i blew my DOME/CLOCK fuse, the deck still had power. If you don't have power in your deck that would mean that something else is f***ed up too, maybe you blew 2 fuses? the deck isn't on the same fuse as DOME/CLOCK.
Replace the fuse... it's at RadioShack, you'll know which one it is. It's down by ur seat on the left side under the steeringwheel. One of them in there, i think the link is posted here that tells u which one it is. wont cost you more than like 2 bucks.

The deck has power. The fuses are good, checked them on the multimeter. There is no power to the #2 fuse receptacle on the fuse box. #2 is the fuse for dome/clk.

Hey bro, trust me, the fuze can look good, but replace it anyways. I've had to do that 4 times for my Defroster now.
