I do. Dont know why really. Maybe just paranoid but its always locked. Who else locks theirs?

 

If I lock mine I can't easily get to my pistol...

 

if car is parked in a unknown unlocal area for couple of hours...yes.

 

Pistol stays in door pocket!



The glovebox lock is for when you leave the car, if you don't want to go with a holster or the old 'under the seat' storage



If mine had a lock, I would lock my glove box. As it lacks a lock, it's a bit tricky.

 

early model j2's came with locking gloveboxe's..stocker don't have one?

 

Barely even stays closed when full of stuff. No lock. 2000 was the last year of this body style, hardly early!
