Default Digital Dash Monitors/Gauges

Hey..what do you guys and gals think about these:

I kind of like the air/fuel ratio Monitor. Maybe you could cut out a small section of the dash, and flush mount this inside. Any thoughts???

I hate to say it but i think they are glorified idiot lights. They look cool, but since they do not return any "real" data or numbers, you are still left guessing as to the performance of your engine.

You might as well stick with the stock water temp gauge with the "L" and "H"

hey low&show I had the same idea you have.....Randoms right though about it being a glorified idiot light....But the thing is it's custom.....It would look pretty sweet in your tibby.....but basicly it's more show than go.....But it would be pretty cool to have....It would keep people guessing when they saw your car at a show......

Hey low&show keep your eyes open for pics of my tib in the next copule weeks,,,,,I have a body kit Im puuting on that your going to like........

whats are you trying to monitor? I have a little setup you hook into your MAF sensor..it is supposed to light up either red/yellow/green..and it tells you if your running to learn or to rich...I have no real idea as to the truth/purpose of this..but is this what you are looking for? I am going to make a custom Face Place with my switches and also this LED pattern of lights. Any thoughts?

Oh, and I forgot..there is an additional part of this setup that I havent finished yet...it's a knob type deal that you adjust your fuel ratio (I'm guessing) to "even" out if your running to rich of too lean..

You cannot tell if you are running rich or lean from a MAF sensor, only a 02 sensor can tell you that. The stock 02 sensors window is VERY SMALL, so tuning with it is next to impossible. It's like trying race around a track with the only visible window the size of a credit card.

The "dial" adjustment I'm assuming is for altering the MAF reading, either turning it up or down. This is a BAD IDEA. Unless you have some kind of digial number readout (S-AFC) you cannot tell how much you are adjusting the air flow. You could be adding way too much air or cutting it off way too much.

Buy as S-AFC if you want to try this kind of tuning, it is made for it.
