No, I meant to call the people who are asking you for a quote. Tell them that you are a end user looking for a small ammount for a project. If you contact a manufacturer of a product they are usually more then willing to send you to a company to which they have sold a bulk ammount because they make more by selling to a smaller comapany in bulk then they do by selling to each individual person who randomly wants a small ammount for a project. The reason is that they have to either fire up the presses for just a few feet of the material or they have to take the time to cut it to a smaller ammount when they usually send out 100x the ammount on a pallet. Contact a manufacturer of the stuff you're looking for and they should be able to direct you to a local retailer who deals with smaller projects.

In my job, I'll try to order a ball valve, microchip, or even a pre-bent pipe from a manufacturer of the equipment, but they will send me to a local service center because they are equipped to deal in bulk, not small purchases. It's just more cost effective for some companies to do business in a round-a-bout way, but they will always work with you if you call them.

2 foot by 2 foot is way too small. 2 by 1 foot is way too small. $187 for that is ridiculous, and obviously not right for those measurements. I'm waiting on a few quotes.

That size becomes both a large and irregular package. You may get alot cheaper if you have them cut it to 2x2
