Here is a copy of the model one 1.3 dealer installed (factory) car alarm guide. I am changing my alarm chirp from my horn to a snazzy tone sounder. The guide includes a method to change your chirp tone from horn to siren, it will be steady instead of pulsed. have fun! This is the one most dealers decided to install. I've seen a few other tiburons across the country with this type. My key fob looks nothing like the one in the pic.

Also, you can make your car's alarm active 3 secconds after closing the door, as well as changing alot of options... If you have a 4 button car alarm, that says ATV The First Rule of vehicle security and it has a 1 in the center of the logo, this is likely your guide.

origonal PDF document can be found here http://www.caralarm.com/manuals/Executive%...ne/model1.3.pdf

heh..thanks for posting this... I knew it would come in handy when I saw it! smile.gif

Just so you know, this is for your car if your key fob is shaped like this. With or without glow in the dark buttons.

I'm glad it helped. I figured that it would help someone. Omega, Executive/Model one do not sell to consumers, they only sell to dealerships. It's unlikely anyone who bought a car with a dealer installed car alarm from these companies has the manual.

^^ Post up the information you can read on the brainbox. It's probly under the dash. Should be the only plastic box under there which is larger then a 1.5"x1.5"x1" relay

It's a pretty big box. About 6" wide from what I remember.
I'll check it out if I remember when I get home tonight. tongue.gif
