Search mang, there are tons of post discussing this...

btw - I have a brand new Metra kit for sale on e-bay, which requires no tweaking to turn a double din opening into a single din one. LISTING

Yes there are. I got mine from crutchfield, it fit pretty well, just required a small amount of tweaking (extra washers, but no cutting).
The best is the OEM one if you can find it.

the only thing a stereo kit is going to have is the beauty plate and then the lil plastic things you screw to the player to hold it in place. i didnt even use the beauty plate i had to pay 20 bucks to just get the lil plastic deals it was pretty gay but its the only way to get it in there nice and stable

As StrikeEagle stated, a swap of the OEM double din surround with a OEM single din surround is by far the preferred method of members here.

Cut it, put in the provided trim ring, then fiberglass the sucker in place, and then paint.

Or you can buy a kit REZMAN was talking about..

see i would fiberglass it, but i've only done it once, so i'd rather not fiberglass it right now. later i'll probably change it later, but i think i'm going to just get the metra off of ebay. thank you much guys beerchug.gif

Yup, SFR will be offering a full OEM swap kit for stereos shortly. Just waiting on the pricing.
