I really need help, does anyone kno how to remove the large part of the dash on the rd2!! its been driving me crazy!! damnit.gif

there are plenty of topics on this, try searching for in depth details... but, you may just be getting stuck with the heater cable. poke your head under the steering wheel, and look towards the center console. You should see a yellow plastic piece holding a cable. Release that cable from the yellow plastic piece, as well as the metal clamp a couple inches up the cable. The clamp releases by pulling the top out towards you.

Other than that, keep looking for that one screw or harness holding onto the dash.

^^^the only topic i could find was to take off to put on the guages...which is the plastic piece i took that off i mean the vinyl piece with the airbag on it... let me kno if anyones finds anything else or has some links...

I was going to say, you guys didn't search very hard.

The part you are talking about is called the "CRASH PAD".

You need to take off the rest of the dash first, then the glovebox, and you'll see there are about 6 brass colored 10MM Bolts holding it on.

Take those off, and you are done.
