Default dash board help

I painted my interior about a month ago and I really wanted to paint the dashboard above the driver's side. I painted the door panels, and center counsels of the car, but I was a little scared to take apart the dash because of all of the dials. I really want to do it soon. After I do it I can really be happy with my interior. I also had another question. When painting the speakers I taped off the center of the speakers and painted around them. I was wondering if anyone who painted the speaker took off the backing to the speaker? Or if you just painted over it, and is the sound quality just as good? I really need some help. Get back at me! smile.gif smile.gif

hey bro! I painted my speaker grilles and the sound is the same, I also did leave the lil paper sticky things on the back of the grill, and it sounds cool.

Thanks for the help! Hopefully I'll get my dash painted, and paint the rest of my speakers so I can be happy. smile.gif smile.gif

hey,

well, when I gave the speakers a second coat of paint, I decided to peel of the lil stick'm on the back of the grill. the sound still sounds good, if the grill gets a lil covered in paint, like the lil "grill holes" poke them with a thin ice pick to clear out the paint
