Default Cooled seats

With heated seats I know they put these little heating pads under the seat material. How do they do it for cooled seats? Is there a fan of some sorts or is there an air duct that runs from the a/c?

That's another. Different car makers do it differently.

Most use a Peltier device and fans. Nissan calls theirs a "Thermal Electric Device".
