OK, the alarm on my tiburon may well go under the sticker "hyundai advanced alarm system" but I know it's a clifford Arrow II.

Now, many moons ago my friend Jason had the same alarm on his RS turbo, but his one used to talk.

When armed it would say "System activated" and when disarmed it would say "system deactivated".

Now, when kicking a rim on mine it does that "blip boop bip boop bip" thing but when doing that to his car it would say "Alarm will sound if you do not back away !".

Was this just a siren? or was it the complete sense and tell system?

I know on his alarm if you even so much as waved your hand near the windsheild it would give out warnings..

"alarm will sound if you dont back away !"

then

"second warning ! alarm will sound if you dont back away!"

do it again and the alarm would then kick into a multitone, first a wowowowowow then a cop siren and so on.

Is it possible to add this to my alarm? and if so how? failing that is there a talking siren available anywhere that will work with my alarm? replacing my sounds with voices?

Yes, you can add this, but it will just result in people messing with your car to hear the voice. Or if you're really lucky, it will piss someone off enough to leave some nice key marks, or encourage a thief to target you simply because it's so irritating. There's a reason you don't see this feature much.

^ It drains too much power. wink1.gif

Seriously though, there are plenty of apps that will allow you to do just that, but if you go a few days without starting your car, your battery will be dead.
