Cigarette anyone? Hmm The lighters seems oddly not hot ..

Are you able to grab the lighter from another car and see if it works in yours? When I said the cigarette lighter may be bad, I meant the part that gets hot (that you touch to the cigarette). $4 @ AutoZone. Do you have a cell phone car charger or anything you can plug into the lighter to see if it has power?

these things do go bad... I replaced mine with a ten dollar unit from the local Napa store.. universal fit..just make sure you actually have voltage TO the lighter.

Hey guys .. I Fixed it up i just bought a new one and installed it .. took me a bit but it's all good now.. The old one looked like some beat it to death.. :S...

If you just replaced the lighter, how is it working? You said up higher that it had no power.

YEah well i finally realiazed that the car had to be one ... Whoops .... Then i test the lighter ... Still no luck, So i went to candian tire and bought a new one. Good as new tongue.gif ... And i got my neons all hooked in and ready to got. I put a splitter in my glove box and ran the plug under the plastic so it's kinda neat. Thanks for your help guys

that is what we are here for... more or less. Glad everything worked out with the lighter.. I remember the one in my old Excel NEVER worked.. and it was inline with my radio.. never did figure that out.
