I want to fasten 6 RCAs to the center hump of the car behind the console, up the curve, and under the back seat. I plan on using screws. Is that a raceway? Are there any wires running through there? I know Tibby01 knows the answer.

I know about the gas tank behind the top of the seat, and have taken that into consideration. I need to know about the hump though.

 

i was just cleaninunder the backseat for some sound deading and i didnt see anything at all in the hump area. as for under the car though i never really looked.

 

when I ran my 0 guage to the trunk I ran it down the center to avoid interference with the speaker wiring on the sides. i don't remember whats there, but it can be done. Had it like that all winter, no shorts yet. Just be careful with where you put it, secure it if you have to, keep it way from any sharp metal.

 

^^ My plan is to have 6 clear RCAs running straight through that area on top of the carpet. I want to fasten them down with screws and I don't want to damage anything.
