Cd Changer?
alright, so i just bought this 10 disk cd changer and i was wonder where i could put it in the car so it could be accessible. i thought about the glove compartment but then i heard you can't fit anything in there unless you want to take out the airbag. the dimensions are 16.9" x 21.1" x 7.4" (WxDxH). do you know anywhere else i could put it???

I dunno about That, I stuffed a 3" power inverter under the passenger's seat and bolted it down. You have to remove the seat first.
eh... i just went back and read the dimensions... that thing is huge.
There might be room if you want to make something for the rear armrest. I think it could fit back there. it's alot of dead space.

3" MIGHT fit up against the very front of the support. the seat slopes downwards. there is no way you would get something 3" tall and 6x6 on the rest under the seat. of course i took off the seat, i generally dont say things in that manner if im not sure of them.
the dimensions of my carpc case were 2.7x10ishx13ish.
i had to hack up and bend the underside of the seat, make a cutout in the carpet for it to sit in, AND it still makes slight contact with the seat if you move it forwards or backwards.

Honestly, as a 12v grad, the trunk is the most reasonable place to put something with those dimensions. If it's an electronic, it's going to need some sort of air circulation, so you wouldn't want it crammed into some place where it's going to get all bent out of shape.
My recommendation would be to put it in the trunk with a nice fiberglass holding, or just make a beauty panel for it if you don't want it to be seen. Chances are, with a 10 disc CD changer, you aren't going to be needing to change those cd's very often... lol
Either way you go, i'm sure it'll work out awesome for you!

not to mention you have a vent down there, which means condensation issues. plus like any kind of spilled drink or food/random grime usually finds its way under the seats.
i put all my carpc stuff down there, but wish i would have just used the trunk.

do you have a huge amp back there? if so, you dont want to run signal cables next to power wires for it.
but anywho, take off rear seats, and then run the cables behind the interior rear quarter trim, up under the long plastic pieces that pop up by the door, behind the front kick panels(couple visible screws), and then to the radio.
