I asked how many orders it would take for them to make a carpet set for the Tiburon. This is their reply.

Due to the cost of building a mold and the fact that the floor pans on this auto only covers a couple of years, the sales would have to be quite substantial to benefit us reproducing this carpet. We would need to insure the sales of at least 250 carpets to make the mold pay for it's self. It is not that we would not like to offer this carpet and we do hope to be able to in the future. But no plans to do so now. This is one reason we offer a Rodder Kit. The kit consist of 2 & 1/2 yards of material, 20 yards of matching binding, a matching heel pad, and 1 sheet of foil back padding. This kit is designed to be taken to your local trim shop everything needed to custom make you a carpet. The cost of the Rodder Kit in the Xtreme colors is $137.00. + shipping. Thanks Thank you for your inquiry.

Well that's not too bad. I just got this email from them...
How much do you think it'd cost to get a "Rodder" kit installed professionaly?

We are seeing some interest in replacement carpet for this car.
We have nothing in the works right now to reproduce this carpet, but please keep checking our website www.accmats.com for our new product listing.
Thanks for your inquiry.

RubenZ would be the best guy to answer that. He and his dad do interior/carpet installs/customization.

250 orders lol. What a joke.

Best to just take it to some one that does it professionaly and have seen there work. The wife payed just over a grand for everything that was done to the interior. At least thats what i think she said. That included the seats and about everything in it. The only thing that didn't get changed was the floor carpet and the trunk carpet and dash.

Yeah, I remember your interior. I put it up as my wallpaper about once a month for a week.
lol
Anyways, with Rubenz being in So. Cal and me not going anywhere near there any time in the next year or 2, I think I'll check out with RED, see if he knows anything bout the local stores or can get me a quote.

have Red drive your car out to So Cal, to have the work performed, and Jaws021 and I can drive it back. You'll have a completed interior waiting for you when you get back from Korea! wink
