what do you mean a reagular amp? this isn't for a car stereo... I just need a way to get the signal amplified and adjustable...

well, the gamecube has regular rca outputs for sound right?(as it should).

just plug them into an amp and wire the amp up. any regular car amp will do. if you want, get one with a wired remote, so you can adjust. use the rear speakers for only the xbox sound, or you could wire a switch up so that you can decide which signal goes to the speakers.

or, if the reciever has audio inputs(most do). you could just run the gamecube left and right(red+white) rca sound outputs straight to it. then you would be able to control the volume from the headuntit.

ok I understand now...lol one last question since this is for my friends jeep we're just gonna buy the cheapest amp we can find. He just bought a house so he doesn't want to spend very much money and it doesn't have to be a good amp because all its for is the audio from the game system. An amp from walmart is not going to have a wired remote so what can I do to be able to adjust the volume?

1000 Watt with the Amp Control. Legacy should be a decent one, they sell it in JC Whitney and my friend has one and it seems to work just fine for his subs.
