This should be everything you need. That's a picture of a LED and a resistor. For blue LEDs, I'd use 560 ohm resistors for LED longevity, or 510 for LED brightness. Either way it will work.

Oh yeah... on the package...

FV = LED voltage
FI or FC or I = amps.

^this is some great info from DTN. be sure to carefully study up on it and read it over and over many times. next, search on some past DIY's, search "LED; LEDS"... good stuff. i learned everything i know from this forum.

next soldering. sort of like welding together but not since welding is an art of its own. test your connections with a 9V square battery (the kind you find in house fire alarms) to solder i use tape. it's really a great thing. tear some tape and stick the wire and + side of the LED to the sticky side the way you want to connect it. then solder it together without things moving, falling, or burning yourself. you can tell the + of any led, just look inside of the LED and it's the bigger side. that side should always hold the resistor.

it's a bit confusing at first but once you get your hands on it, there's a pattern just like life and the universe itself.

Hey Adam(s), what do you guys use to 'house' your LED's so to speak. I know some LED's that you buy at say AutoZone have little housings on them so you can drill a hole and they click into place. What do you use?

Don't buy autozone LED holders/LEDs. They cost entirely too much. All they do is sell it as a pre-assembled package so that you spend more money. I think it's like $5 or $10 they charge for $.50 in parts.
