As some of you know.. I am in the process of redoing my dash compleatly... from colour to gages.. and I am not going to be reusing the original gages that came on my RD1 but am going to a compleate Autometer package... unforunatly the C2 style is EXPENSIVE.. so the going is slow... so here is the first of about 8 gages I need to get.. also one of the more expensive ones too.

Lookin Good!

BTW, I just installed the vents today. My original ones were graphite colored, that's why I needed to paint them. The ones you sent were black, so they go well as is. Thanks.

couldnt you have jumped in on some of the gauge group buys going on? that would have saved you a bunch of money, and i remember some gauges that looked exactly like those.

those C2 gauges (oil pressure) ARE EXPENSIVE AS CRAP! I was quoted $200 for just the one gauge... I believe it was the C2 model, if not, the newer one.

I only trust three gage companies.. one of which does not make aftermarket gages... VDO, Autometer, and Veglia Borletti. The last, is standard on most italian cars.. but unavailible otherwise.. VDo gages are some of the best.. but I did not care for the black bezel on the face I liked.. so I went with Autometer..

well, it came in today.. and I have to say, holding it in my little sweaty hands, it looks better than in pictures or even in a display. The "feel" of the gage itself is solid, for the money I spent, I am happy to say that it looks and feels like money well spent. Now all I need are the following:

Tach
Speedo
Water temp
Air/fuel
boost
fuel
egt

this is going to be expensive.. but it is going to be SO pretty and I will know EVERYTHING the engine is doing.
