Default Battery Terminal Recommendations

I currently have this Knukonceptz terminal and it's far from ideal for me. I have 4 gauge and 8 gauge power wires and I need to connect the engine electrical. With my current terminal I have the two cut ends of the engine electrical jammed in the 4 gauge spot and the 8 gauge wire on the ring terminal (4 gauge is currently disconnected). For years this worked fine but recently I've been having some issues with the electrical, batteries keep dying quickly and occasionally the car will die. I'd like to install a cleaner setup, one where it doesn't look like the engine wires are about to fall out of the terminal.

Are the engine wires 8 gauge? What's the best way to handle the engine wires? If so, would I be best off with a terminal having a 4 gauge and 2 8 gauge inputs and a ring terminal? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

This is a power block I used for ground, and it is a beautiful thing.
