Alot of new cars have this feature here once you hit a certain mph (5-10 usually), it automatically locks your doors. I like this feature and I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any alarms out there that do this when connected to a power door lock relay for keyless entry? I assume it would some how have to be connected to your speed sensor or something in order to work properly? And yes, I know I could always just lock my doors myself but I like this feature better.

 

You might be able to pull that off with a window switch and some interesting wiring?

 

I find that feature one of the most annoying on new/newer cars.

I don't understand what it's meant to do? Keep people from carjacking you on the interstate?

 

Gen coupes have that feature and I like it.

If you unlock the door and don't open it then it relocks them again on my Gen Coupe. Rather annoying sometimes.

 

I think it's for accidents, so the door doesn't fly open on you when you pull 100 G's in a head on. Same with the auto window up when certain cars sense an accident coming.
