I'm about to pull the trigger on this line level converter so I can keep my factory system in place

As such things go, that seems at a glance like a good one. I like the automatic turn-on for the converter AND the amp remote turn-on line.

I like that converter and it what it can do! I think I shall copy your decision and buy one as well!
