can some1 tell me what size speakers does a stock 01 tib come with??

6.75 in the doors ---> 6½ will fit
6X9 in the rear

 

For the fronts, you will need to make yourself an adapter, cuz i dont think ANYONE has found 6 1/2's or 6 3/4s that directly bolt in.. If you search the old forum, they have a good DIY about this i think?.. http://www.rdtiburon.com/old

Uhhh my speakers bolted up just fine. They are Pioneer 6-3/4's, I forget the exact model number.

 

funny thing... my tib came 6 1/2's and i just ripped the adapters of it and stuck my new 6 1/2's on there...

 

my 6-1/2" sonys didnt fit, And my JL 6-/12"s didnt fit either.

Im going to make a mounting plate for them.

 

The 6.5 inch Infinity Kappas come with an adapter plate that makes them a direct swap.

 

I installed Kicker Resolutions in my Tib just fine,,6 1/2

 

It all depends on what the top mounting depth of the speaker is.If I remember right,my 00 tib's door depth is like 1.75",with the window down.Usually your higher end 6.75" woofers will have a mounting depth of 2"-2.25".In that case you will have to obtain or fabricate some adapters.
