Hi guys,

Well, I saw this 99 Tib on car domain.com that had blue/black APC seats installed. Do these seats mount to the stock brackets using APCs "universal" sliders?? It didn't look like the guy had to modify much, if anything at all, then again I could be wrong. I didn't try to contact him because the page was last updated in 2003 . So i am here ..

Thanks,
-Randy

Why would you want APC products? If you want to spend your money on somthing such as seats(as your life depends on them) I sure as hell wouldnt chose APC. Just save up another month or so and get a pair of seats from a good company.

3/4 of the seats on the market in the sub ~700$ range come from the same 4-5 asian companies; each reselling company just sticks their logo in them.

I highly doubt APC has the mount for our cars. You'll need to fabricate them, or modify the stock ones to fit.

^^ True... but I bet APC gets the ones from the 5 year old blind kids rather than the 10 year old children. Ugh... nasty, nasty products... shivers down my spine.

I wouldn't trust my life in a golf cart with APC seats.

None of the mounts APC has on the market right now will work on our cars.

Ok, maybe APC isn't the best choice, but I do know that Corbeau makes brackets for a 97 Tiburon in their 2005 bracket catalog. If I buy those brackets and say cheaper seats (like tenzo's), will I be able to weld the seats onto the Corbeau brackets?

Corbeau brackets feature nice flat slider rails.

Just a thought, would be an experiment.

The rails usually go for 85-90 bucks each. Listed on the corbeau website, which i think is just www.corbeau.com

Let me go look. That's a REALLY good idea. Get the sliders and just weld on the seats youwant.

Yup.

Good idea.
