Awsome DIY ABT. Much props. Do you guys think I should include a feature like this to my lil halo kits. It'd be nice to have on a button with the halos. I'm totally doing this tomorrow. Thank you so much for the great idea. Very interested in the console as well.

Aren't LEDs awsome!

I wanted to know what bulb sizes were used to replace the window buttons, and how easy is it to get to? I figured I might as well do it while I've got the door panel off. Another fairly cheap website to get bulbs/LED's is below.

majik,

I used the exact same LEDs as in the door handle mod.

It's not hard to do at all, I can post more pics on that if needed.

i'd like to see an add-on to this DIY of some1 doing it to the interior cabin light, so that it comes on when the door is opened, or the light up top is put on. so if ppl are having trouble finding the handle, u open your door, and all the LEDs come on. smile.gif

I want to do something like that, but on the speaker grid. I need to connect the wire from the door to the cabin (switches), i know there is a rubber, how can you squeeze a small wire in it???

Thanks.

1) i wrote my own DIY on this:

2) wow the wiring for the 2g tib main switch assembly looks a ton like the one for my Y3 sonata (1997). but i bet it doesn't mean anything. after all, on the tib, there's only switches for 2 windows, and there's 4 on my sonata.
