Default Amp Power Cable/s?

Hey guys, long time!! Quick question. I just upgraded to a 600W amp from 340W and realized my power cable is to small. While I was troubleshooting the old amp I bought a new cable kit. Problem is neither old or new is a large enough gauge to support the new amp. Along with that, the one that is large enough is too big to be tucked away and about $30/$40 at walmart [more at the auto audio shops].

Question is can I run two smaller gauge wires in tandem with smaller fuses or would it be better to bite the bullet and go with the large gauge?
Also what's a good fuse sixe for a 600W?

Thanks!

I think you should bite the bullet and get a bigger power cable. If you dont want to buy a whole kit just go to a local stereo shop and buy a few feet of bigger cable alone. Should only be a few dollars.

Running 2 wires would technically work, but is not a good idea.

Just run some 4ga. wire. It's what I was running in the Accent all tucked out of sight and it'll power your 600w amp.

I run my 1000w Memphis on 4ga all day. You'll be just fine with that and still have more room to upgrade.
