When I bought the install there was a shitty alarm already installed thats EXTREMELY sensitive.

On the back of the remote, it says ATV™ so I assume that's the brand. THe problem is whenever I'm driving now it'll go off during turns, or even when I'm stopped.

I sound like a friggin' cop car, and at night I've had numerous people pull over to the side.

I need to find a way to disconnect this thing. FOR NOW, should I just cut the wires (the red one and the two black ones connected to the siren?

 

the siren cant make noise without power, so just take the ground wire out of the siren.

why is this in other vehicles?

 

Ack.. meant to post it in gripes & complaints but whatever.

I'll try and do that tmrw.. any other suggestions?

 

Just remove the siren man. I don't understand why you would have 2 anyways?
