I have posted this on HA but I would really like an answer today, lol, I have my car in pieces. where exactly is the negative parking light wire ? I have a list of wire colours that says it is a green and white wire, in a 20 pin gray plug below the cross member beam under the driver side dash. I am installing my alarm (as i type this) I have my door lock actuators in and working, every thing works great except I can't find, the lead for the parking lights to flash. I have tried the Green wire with the white stripe but it only works the reminder chime for the headlights. I would really appreciate some input on this,
thanks

I install remote starters and alarms for a living been doing it for 11 years.
I got info from my tech soft info and i've done alot of hyundais and the colors have not changed on me yet the only thing I don't like about the older hyundais is the power and ignition and acessory wires they are all the same color heh but if you use a mulitmeter to find the right ones

power 12v all the time

ignition only when key is on and when to try to start the volts drop just a little

acessory 12 volt when the key is on and drops to 0 when you try to start

those are the main remote start wires

to check for the parking light wire just take the black probe from the multimeter.set the dmm to 12 dc and take the black and put it to a ground and take the red probe and put it on the wire you should get nothing but when you turn the parking light on it will read 12v easiest way to find the wire and it's the same way to find the positive wire as well just take the black probe.ground it and take the red probe and test the wire you thing is positive it should only read 12v when you turn on the parking light s

Did anyone find a wire for the parking lights that worked, or did everyone just run it through the firewall?

I tried the green with white strip but it didn't work for me.

I'd prefer not to have to run another wire through the firewall.

Thanks
