i would hook it up directly to the ecu. or you can go to the wire on the o2 sensor. what tanc is trying to say is those narrowband a/f gauges are not really accurate at all and are basically just a light show. but, since i doubt you have a ton of mods, im sure youre just going for looks. ill try to dig up the pin number you want

Heres how you install it.
1. Take the gauge out of the box it came in.
2. Firmly grasping the gauge with the face of the gauge in the palm of your hand, repeatedly force one of the securing bolts into your eye until you see lights flashing in that particular eye
3. Write down the colors you see, these colors are about 99% as useless as the colors you will see when the gauge is wired in to your car
4. Realizing this, walk the bloody gauge over to the garbage and place said gauge in said receptacle.
5. Order a wideband, or buy something else that you can use that isnt a total waste of money.

Yes, but I'm just helping him not get flamed by his local tuners.
Sell the gauge you bought and by yourself either a volt gauge, oil pressure, water temp...or oil temp, or even a fuel pressure gauge if you'd like.

chill out mang i wasnt trying to be mean, just be funny and helpful at the same time. which is why i used the thumb emoticon. I added the j/k icon so more people dont get their feathers ruffled.
The fact is that he loses respect when anybody who knows anything sees he has a narrowband AFR gauge, i agree he should get something that would actually provide him with some usable information like oil pressure/oil temp/voltage/windshield washer fluid level
ok so maybe the last one was a joke but dammit sometimes i wish i knew how much fluid i had in the damn thing without getting out of the car! lmao.gif

It's rice, yes, but can someone answer his question? Ericy, you said you can hook it up to an O2 sensor, which one, first (right out of the headers) or the 2nd (after the cat)?
I can probably try to find the pin number, but someone else have it right off hand?
And would it just be one wire, or is it two that you have to connect?

good point SE, i suppose nobody really answered him because its been covered before but i can enlighten him...if he wants to hook it up through the ecu its pin 12 which should be yellow, and if your going to do it using the o2 sensor your most "accurate" reading should come from the first 02 sensor since the cat alters the o2 reading.
