It is worth mentioning that you want to be very careful with the stock airbag module. They don't explode really, but if you have one go off while you are right by it, you might think they do. At a minimum, disconnect the battery before you mess with the wiring at all.

First of all, for anyone reading this thread, removing a steering wheel equipped with an airbag makes the car a lot more dangerous in a crash, and is a decision you shouldn't take lightly. You should also know that if you get into a crash it is likely that your insurance won't cover you to any extent that their lawyers feel they can get away with.
But I'm not yo momma so do what you want, just think about it and make sure it's something you want to do. I have a car with an aftermarket wheel (came that way) and I love driving it. I personally would switch back if it was a dd, but as an occasionally driven vehicle I think the added risk is worth it.

Okay short right up for yall, (Also please before you do any work on the steering wheel and air bag, please disconnect the battery for atleast ten minutes so it has a little time to discharge, i have personally seen an air bag go off, with the battery removed from the car, and the air bag in his hands. once you get it out, put it some where safe for a while.
Question one. Yes, you will have to remove the air bag that will cause the air bag to come on. no biggy if you dont mind the light, and you can actually turn the light off, if you have someone that can get you a hook up with a snap on hand held code reader, you can reset the ecu, to make it appear it is good. Or a dealership will do it, but they will charge. The tool you are looking for is the Snap on Scanner 2500!
Question two. think i got that^^^
Question three. The hub is easy pic one up at Autozone, there literally 15 bucks, very simple to install, just be sure to get the wheel and hub on straight before you tighten the hub down to the wheel, it is a real b*tch to get it off, as the aluminum hubs like to fit on pretty snug. Also once you remove the air bag and steering wheel, you will see the part that the air bag and horn switch connected to for power, undo the four bolts and remove that module to, then you should be left with the with the piece that would normally spin with the steering wheel to cancle the turn signals. You can still use this feature by drilling a few small 1/4 holes maybe an 1/8th inch deep. Then the three prongs will slide into the back of the hub, and all is well, and your turn signal will cancle automatically.
