Advice Needed: In Dash Navigation/ Dvd / Mp3 Cd Player
An example by Sanyo
Looking for something like this I guess, but that will fit in a double din and work like a regular audio system.
Any advice?? Thanks

Although the Pioneer is nice hes said hes looking for a dbl din. Truthfully i dont think your going to find anything cheaper than the sanyo. Personally i wouldnt buy sanyo but thats your choice. Im getting the Clarion N.I.C.E unit that is portable but it works with everything i already have that is also clarion. Kenwood has a nice Dual Din unit but your looking at about $1200 at least for a nice dual din unit.
Go for the Pioneer D1, it's the N2 with the double din screen that folds down to give access to the cd and dvd drives. The only thing is that it says it doesn't play DVDs and the dvdrom drive is just for the nav, so you'll have to get a seperate dvd player. I have heard that there is a jumper somewhere on the unit so it will play movies, but that could just be a rumour.
My problem with the Sanyo is that it doesn't have a radio inbuilt. Unfortunate because it fit's my budget well.
I look at the Pioneers and they are expensive but nice. I don't need a double din, I just figured that Navigation would need a larger screen. Im pretty flexible as long as it serves as a dvd/cd player, radio and navigation.
Anyone?

Get the double din and you are begging for a break in on the car.
Trust me.
If you want a double din setup, I don't know if it does navigation but Kenwood has a decent one.
