hi guys,

1 - I have heard a couple of different stories about how far you should mount your fuse holder. 1 is within 18" from battery and the other was 12" away from battery. Which is the correct one?

2 - I'm running 2 amps 1 with a 160 fuse and the other is 30 amp fuse. Would a 200amp fuse at the battery be ok?

How close your fuse holder is mounted to the battery is a matter of where you are competing (rules may vary). The idea in general is to keep the wire short, but sometimes mounting fuse holders is harder than you'd think so they allow a short distance. In theory, the longer the cable from your battery to your fuse, the higher the risk of burning your car to the ground.
