Default Turbo versus Turbo

Who would win a race between the Veloster Turbo (when it comes out) versus the 2.0 Genesis? My money would be on the Veloster.

depends, the current 2.0 or what will be out when the fwd turbo shows up? What type of racing? In most situations RWD > FWD.

Depends on type of racing. On a track the GC should win. Drag the Veloster should have an edge more than likely.

1.6T 207bhp vs. 2.0T 210bhp ... 2600lbs. vs. 3300lbs

but the Genesis is sexier.

The veloster is really growing on me. I saw one on the road yesterday - quick, cheap, and easy to make it look really nice

For some reason, I don't think Hyundai will bother making the veloster turbo especially fast down the strip. I don't think they'd want the veloster treading on the toes of the bigger brother.

That's cool, it just leaves more room for the aftermarket to play around
