Default Temperature for clay bar

Can you clay bar your car in any temperature? I know in order to wax a car, it has to be somewhere in the 60s or 70s or else the wax will harden up on your paint and be difficult to remove if its colder. But since you dont leave anything on your paint when claying, can you do it in any temperature?

I'd check the directions on the package. It may vary.

Everything I've read says as long as it doesn't get stiff, you should be ok. (That's what she said) So either keep a warm bucket of water to dip it in so it's pliable, or buy a few and keep the ones you aren't currently using in the warm, and rotate them out.
